The Freshworks apps are secured with restriction from sandbox frame as mentioned in the linked post.
When a link is clicked from the app, it also inherits the same security restrictions as of the app. It’s a side-effect from how the browser makes these sandbox frames to work.
Only if we lift this restriction of the apps, we will be able to lift it for the links clicked as well. We cannot do it for all the apps on our Marketplace and all the custom apps published.
There’s no feature on our platform to exclude it for particular custom apps yet. I will pass on this feedback with our team to provide this feature. But, we cannot have a timeline confirmed until the team picks it up to build it.
