Dear Developers,
Following the Node v18 end of life on April 30, 2025, we are deprecating platform version 2.3 for marketplace apps. Existing apps built with platform version 2.3 will continue to work without any disruptions.
As a result of the deprecation, creation of new apps on platform version 2.3 will be disabled starting January 30, 2026. For existing apps, bug fixes will be allowed until May 30, 2026.
From May 30, 2026 onward, apps built with platform version 2.3 will no longer receive platform updates, new features, bug fixes, or technical support. The ability to make bug fixes will also be blocked.
What does this mean to you?
Begin migrating to platform version 3.0 immediately. Please use the migration guide and developer documentation. You can also use the Freddy Developer Co-pilot to migrate your apps to 3.0 seamlessly, check this video guide.
Use the latest FDK CLI to start building new marketplace apps with platform version 3.0. Watch out this space for upgraded Node v24 LTS support for platform version 3.0.
