Create Contact In Freshdesk with API and Setting Password

Our company has a custom written solution that contains it’s own database for user accounts that are tied to customer accounts. This architecture is not going to change.

We will be using Freshdesk for our helpdesk and knowledge base system. We do not want to have to have users create separate logins for our system and Freshdesk.

That said, I would like to use the rest-api to create a contact in Freshdesk (already can do that) but I would also like to set the users password via the API.

If we had that ability, we could then keep the Freshdesk users in sync with the users in our system.

Any thoughts on this?
