Custom date field mapping imported date value in european formate

Hi, everyone!
I have recently started helping out a company that just started working with FreshSales and we ran into few challenges:

  1. when we import products a US date like 1/10/2023 which is January 10th is being mapped to the new record as 10/1/2023 aka October 1st 2023. Can some one please point me in the right direction like how can i set up the date format for our custom date fields when we import data or otherwise?
