Customize send and set as in reply

Hi Community.

I’m trying to figure out how to customize the Send as in ticket reply.
We want to be able to set as “Open” and remove set as “Closed”

Is it possible with the interface API to hide the elements, and add the “Open” status.
I can see that it was possible in earlier days in freshdesk:

Thanks for being patient. We have few frontend & product events that listen to status/type changes. You can attach logic to it that will reset the status back to Open

Another approach that I can think of is to have a transitionary status like Re-open. You can setup a simple automation that changes re-open to Open whenever the ticket is updated

Let me check if there are much simpler ways to achieve the same.
