Freshcaller - Freshdesk Integration: Autom. link Freshdesk ticket to call

Hey Community,

is there any chance to link a ticket to a call?
According to documentation, there is no PUT request on a call possible - But I wonder if there is any chance to link a Freshdesk ticket to an ongoing call autoatically.

My usecase/flow would be:

  • Create the ticket right away when the call is accepted
  • Open the ticket in a new tab so that agents can work on that ticket while the call ist still going
  • Link the ticket to the ongoing call.

While the first two are easily doable with a custom app, I haven’t found a way to link the created ticket to the current call.
I know that agents can create the ticket right away manually, but we want to help them by automating this step.

Any thoughts on this? Any ideas?
