Heads Up! Important update! Moratorium Period for Marketplace App Reviews

Hey Freshworks Developer Community,

We’re here with an important update! To maintain platform stability and deliver the best experience for all our users, we’ll be observing a moratorium on app reviews on the Freshworks Marketplace.

When’s This Happening?

  • Start Date: 21st Dec 2024
  • End Date: 3rd Jan 2025

What Does This Mean?

  • No New App to be Published During This Time:
    App submissions made during the moratorium period will be queued and reviewed but will only be published after the moratorium ends.
  • What about existing submissions or existing apps?
    • The existing review for the apps that are submitted will continue to be reviewed as usual
    • If the app is approved before the moratorium period starts, it will be published accordingly.
    • If the app is approved and ready to be published during the moratorium period will only be published after the moratorium period ends.
  • Critical Fixes Only:
    We’ve got you covered if you need to push critical updates (e.g., bug fixes or security patches) for live apps! If your app is approved and awaiting release or needs an expedited review with immediate release during this period. To do so let us know through Dev Assist portal by creating a service request with this link which is subject to approval. We will do our best to ensure that your app is released promptly. We will contact you if there are any questions or issues. Thank you for your cooperation.

What Should You Do?

  • Submit Early: If you plan to release a new app, we recommend submitting it by 20th Dec 2024, to ensure it gets reviewed on time.
  • Keep Building: Use this time to refine your apps, add cool new features, or just take a breather and enjoy the community vibe.

When Are Things Back to Normal?

The app review process will resume in full swing on 3rd Jan 2025. Submissions will be reviewed in the order they’re received, so don’t worry—your app is in the queue!
