How are articles categorized as public or private

Hi ,
I want to retrieve all the end-user / public articles using api, not sure which attribute of the response defines public and private articles.

Initially i taught “Folder visibility” attribute will help me, then saw an article. Which states that portals defines whether an article is public or private .

Any leads on these would help!

We want to identify, which articles which are visible to end users (public) and which are articles are for internal/agents (private )?
