How to disable or add validation on close icon button from FD modal

Problem Statement: Disable or add validation prompt for close modal button.
It is required to avoid closure of any irreversible process which cannot be reinitiated if agent leaves process in-between flow.
Please find attached screenshot of modal with inbuild close button. (Highlighted)

We do not have a documented feature to disable it or add a validation and stop the action for Modal Interface. We will wait if any community members have a workaround for it.

I have put you in touch with the Freshdesk support to check if there are any workaround available or to request for a new feature to allow it.
