Interface method to insert in editor does not insert at cursor

The documentation for the interface method to insert text in editor says that the text is appended at the current cursor position.

However, it only appends the text at the end of the text already present in the reply editor.

Please take a look at this as this is important for customers to be able to insert text at the cursor.
