Is the API rate-limit per app or per account? Also, how much is the limit?

We are pulling a certain data from the customer’s account and we hit the limits very soon. Could it be because they have other apps connected to their account? Are the rate limits per app or per account?

​The rate-limits of the Product API apply to your Freshdesk account. The Freshdesk allows you to use only a specific number of APIs/Minute and per account.
