When the modern UI was release for freshservice my users reported that our custom app was no longer working as expected
In basic terms the app takes a tigger event does a calculation and sets a field value to the result.
for this i used the “Set Value for Ticket Property Fields” and “Update Ticket Properties” interface methods so that the user would see the data without a refresh. this worked and still works in the classic view.
however in the modern UI the data is inserted into the property field but the updated button remains greyed out. Also even though “Update Ticket Properties” runs and returns ok upon refreshing the data disappears.
is there any solutions for this or is it just an isssue with the modern UI?
