I want to publish a custom app and make privately available to my freshdesk dashboard, so that it’s just available in my dashboard and not in the marketplace publicly. But I am not sure if I publish an app, it will be private by default or will it be published publicly in the marketplace where everyone can see it.

The app will be private and accessible to the account you published if the app is a custom app. (private by default if it is a custom app)
