Rename Existing Freshdesk Marketpace App

Hi Team,

We have our app in Freshdesk marketplace. We are looking to modify the name of the app and would like to know if it’s possible to make this change without having to update the code file.

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings!

It seems that there’s no need to update the code if you’re only changing the app name.

I tested this in our developer portal, and the app was submitted for review without any code updates.

To do this, go to Settings >> Apps >> Manage Apps >> Go to Developer Portal, select the app you want to update, change the name, and submit it for review.

It will then go through the review process, and once the content review is complete, it will be published with the updated name.
