We’ve integrated Freshdesk with certain app_key, but I’d like to restrict it to only writing permissions so the same app_key isn’t allowed to fetch data.
Where is the app running? Is this a Freshworks app? Or an external application working with the Freshdesk REST API?
Currently it is not possible to restrict permissions as you suggested,
Freshdesk won’t supported these kind of access.
I have an workaround for you!
create an agent with restricted access, and get that API key and make use of that api key in your environment,
but that restricted access can have write access but you are able to do only specified tickets.
