Update: OAuth Credentials Page Access in AMP

We inform you of an important update regarding creating and accessing OAuth credentials for the Freshservice product APIs within the App Management Portal (AMP).

What’s changing?

To strengthen the security of our platform, we have restricted access to the OAuth credentials page. Moving forward, only organization admins in Freshworks accounts can view and create OAuth credentials.

What does this mean for you?

  • If you are an Organization Admin: No action is required. You will continue to have access to the OAuth credentials page as usual.

  • If you are not an Organization Admin: You can no longer access the OAuth credentials page to create or view OAuth credentials. In this case, please reach out to your organization administrator for assistance. You have two options:

    1. Request to be upgraded to an Organization Admin in your Freshworks account.
    2. Ask your Organization Admin to create the OAuth credentials on your behalf.

Note: Please be aware that the Organization Admin role differs from the Admin roles within individual Freshworks products.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact the Freshworks support team or discuss on the Freshworks developer forum.
