In our company 80% of communication goes with WhatsApp.
For 3 years we used a normal WhatsApp business account with an IPhone.
This week we started using Freshchat. But we discovered a mayor issue:
If existing contacts deleted the old WhatsApp chat something goes wrong.
If they want to contact us again their WhatsApp does not find us as existing users of WhatsApp. WhatsApp presents the possibility to invite us for WhatsApp. If they do that, this doesn’t work.
The result is that they can not contact us anymore and I looks like we have stopped operations.
What helps then is if the client deletes our contact and after that put our contact back manually. Then they can contact us again. The problem is that we can not contact all our clients that this mayor issue exists and that they have to delete and then reinstall!
We are probably quitting fresh because of this, unacceptable issue if this persists.
Does anybody knows about this or has a solution ?
