APPS build with FDK version prior to 9.0.0 (deprecation)

Good day all,

I have a question concerning the new 9.0.0 FDK version and the platform 2.2 deprecation scheduled for July 31, 2023:

Will my old custom apps (I have to modify quite a few apps to the new request method :)) keep continuing to function after july 31, 2023 or is this a hard deadline and do we need all our apps to be converted to platform 2.3 by then?

Hey @Andoh4h, Welcome to the Freshworks Developer Community With the announcement of FDK 9, you may notice that Platform version 2.2 / Node14 is set for deprecation by July 31st, 2023 while the apps which are live will continue to function as expected but if it needs any new version updates, that would require you to migrate to Platform version 2.3 / Node18. Yes, the apps in platform version 2.2 will continue to work as expected but we would recommend you to migrate your apps to platform version 2.3 and any new versions of the app published have to be in platform 2.3
